Building structures, chemical process and operating equipment and plants of all types are subject to a wide variety of different influences.

In particular, chemical, thermal and mechanical stresses of a corrosive nature are a potential hazard to the service life, utility value, stability and functional reliability of plants and buildings.

However, protecting the operating equipment and substrates against damage is not only our main concern. Protecting and preserving our environment is the other. Preventing environmental hazards imposes many demands on industrial surface protection systems, e.g. containment of substances harmful to the environment.

Corrosion protection is therefore a matter of key importance. To cope with such widely varying influences, specially developed products and measures, often complex in nature, are needed to ensure full protection and lasting reliability. Corrosion protection systems have to be matched to the specific requirements of each particular application.
